Bobby Barz rode the waves all the way from Virginia Beach, VA and he is now residing in Raleigh, NC. He's an artist, music producer and audio engineer. Bobby continues to spread light to the dark areas of the world with his powerful words and wisdom. Molded from poverty and a life full of struggles it was inevitable that he became the humble, honest, dedicated, and highly spirited individual that he is today.
He entered the world on February 27, 1991 with a mission to accomplish. As a child the passion for music flowed through his veins. With the lack of guidance he was forced to learn life lessons early on. The lessons he learned through his journey accompanied by pain and faith soon became the driving force behind his music. Battling anxiety and depression the studio eventually became his personal therapy sessions.
Bobby Barz has recorded numerous songs over the years but due to self-criticism and an urge to achieve perfection most of the music was never released. After a period of silent growth he's constantly showcasing his talent to the world. Each bar is filled with wordplay, passion and a piece of his story. He believes each person is called by God for a unique purpose to fulfill. It's debatable whether or not his music currently falls into the christian hip hop category but it definitely gives hope to others while praising God.
The first project he released was titled "The Call''. About two years later he released his second EP called "Story of Bob''. This was an experimental project where he tested his producing and audio engineering skills. The whole project was completed by him including the cover art. He's aware that some improvement was needed but being able to do everything from start to finish was a huge accomplishment for him. As he grows in will continue to master his craft and become the legend he dreamed to be. Both projects are currently streaming on major platforms for listeners to get a glimpse of his life.
